Biography
Dave Glass (b.1972) is an American illustrator and printmaker. His visual art encompasses imagery of strong women of subcultures, creatures, urban decay, struggles with addiction, and the human condition, intertwined with his signature hand drawn typography. Since creating his first band's logo in 1987, Dave spent the next thirty years designing rock posters, album covers, and t-shirt graphics for his personal music projects, alongside numerous commissions from roller derby to bands around the world. GLASS has has also worked in the prepress and screen printing industry since 1993. Over the decades he has honed skills as a master printmaker. He has also held the drum throne for east coast punk bands including The Strychnine Babies, The Independents, Dead Empty, and Doomed To Obscurity among others.
Dave Glass relocated to Austin TX May 2021 with his photographer girlfriend Kristen Grundy, together as DAWN 11:11, his son for some time, and Mr. Bugsy his black cat familiar. The couple also newly formed the band Hand Of Law in 2025.
